¿Como puedo Chatear?
Cuando estes en una Sala,abajo en la caja de texto,pon lo que quieres decir y presiona enter.

Why can't I hear what people say?
If you don't hear other people talking, it is probably because you are not close enough! You can only hear people who are in radius of five squares from you. This way, you can have a quiet conversation with your friends. But if you shout, everyone will hear you.

Sometimes you see chat bubbles with words replaced by dots. This means you hear only partially what other people are saying.

How do I change the way I look?
Changing your appearance is easy! Simply, click on 'Update your Habbo ID' at the bottom of the Habbo Hotel screen, enter your password and click 'accept'. Your Habbo will appear along with all the difference clothes, looks and skin colours. Choose what you fancy, click 'accept' and be whoever you wannabe!

How do I walk, sit and lay down?
To walk around, click on the floor tile you want to move to and wait. Your Habbo will walk over to it. To sit or lay down, click on the floor tile underneath the seat or bed you want to sit or lie on.

How do I dance?
To dance, click on yourself and the dance button will appear under your Habbo on the right-hand side of the screen. Click on the button to get grooving, click it again to stop.

Why have I been returned to the Hotel View page?
This is probably because you have been inactive for a while. If you do not move for five minutes your Habbo's eyes close, so that people know that you are not active. After 15 minutes you are automatically returned to the Hotel View page.

How do I get blue hair?
Blue hair is a bit tricky to get, but if you follow these instructions you'll get the perfect dye-job in no time! Go to 'Update my Habbo ID' and put in your password. Then tick the boxes and click 'accept'. Change your Habbo's hairstyle to a baseball cap and click 'back'. Then enter your password again, tick the boxes again and click 'accept'. Then you should be able to choose not only blue, but a variety of different hair colours!

How do I buy Habbo Credits if I am not in the UK?
You can either use a credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or send in a cheque or postal order. For more information, please look in your Habbo Purse (at the bottom of the screen when you are signed in to the hotel).

Why can't Habbo Credits be free?
Habbo Hotel is available to anyone over the Internet. Visiting the hotel is free - unlike other services that provide the kind of experience we do, you don't have to buy a CDROM or pay a monthly subscription fee. We only charge for 'extras', such as furniture and mobile phone logos, and we have priced these at an affordable level for everyone - anyone can have a digital TV in the Habbo Hotel! You are welcome at the Hotel, whether you buy Credits or not.

How do I get Habbo Credits?
There are several different ways - by Visa or Mastercard, through SMS from a Vodafone mobile, with a Splash Plastic or Smartcreds, by cheque or postal order and by phoning a special number from your home phone. To find out more, please look in your Habbo Purse (at the bottom of the screen when you are signed in to the hotel).

Why can't I use my mobile phone to buy Credits?
At the moment, Vodafone is the only mobile phone company that offers this service. As soon as the other companies can provide the same service, we will let you know.

Private rooms

How do I get a private room?
To get your own room, enter the Lobby or Cafe Ole and go to one of the 'Room-O-Matic' booths (they look like high tech telephone kiosks, to the right of the entrance). Click on a booth and the 'Room-O-Matic' will appear - just follow the instructions that pop up. All rooms are free at Habbo Hotel.

What rules are there in private rooms?
The Habbo Way applies in all rooms in the hotel, but you should treat the private rooms like someone else's home.

I've seen some stuff in people's rooms that's not in the catalogue - how do I get it?
Some of the furniture and clothing you see is being tested and is not available yet. This is because we want to make sure that everything we sell is of the highest quality. The catalogue is updated regularly, so keep an eye out!

How do I trade furniture?
We have introduced a secure trading system, so that you can trade items without fear of them being stolen. To trade with another Habbo just drag an item on top of them and the trading window will open - you'll see what to do after that.

What is the giant hand for?
When you have bought items from the catalogue, we 'hand deliver' them to your room. You can select the furniture from the giant hand and drag it to the room. Click on the hand to close it.

I've bought furniture, but it's not in my hand. Where is it?
The things you bought are actually there, but you just can't see them! This is due to a small technical glitch that we're working to fix. If you leave the room and return, it will appear. Please let us know if it doesn't.

Where are the items I bought from the Catalogue?
When you have bought items from the Catalogue they will be 'hand-delivered' to you in the giant hand that appears on the right-hand side of the screen. To put the furniture into your room, simply drag the item from the hand to the place you want to put it in your room. To move your furniture around the room, just click on the item and options will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.

Where do I get Stickie notes from?
Stickie notes are available from the Catalogue - you can find a copy in every private rooms. A whole pad costs just 3 Habbo Credits and you can put Stickies in any private room. Sometimes other Habbos leave blank ones for you to leave messages on too.

How do I delete my private room?
To delete your room, locate it in the Hotel Navigator and click on the 'Modify' button. You can then choose to delete your room, but remember that you will lose any furniture you have left in it. If you are sure you want to delete your room, pick up your belongings first.

New features

Why isn't there any music in the hotel?
Habbo is committed to providing everyone with the best user experience possible over a standard internet connection. As the hotel is very rich in graphics, there is a risk that music could compromise this experience for those who do not have extremely fast internet connections. We are working on ways to optimise the hotel so that we can stream music and we will make it available as soon as we can.
